You might even get a round of applause at your next cookout or potluck. Don’t worry, we’ll let you take all the credit.

  • Total TIME:
  • 15 minutes
  • SERVINGS:
  • 4

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Taylor Farms Broccoli Slaw
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • ¼ cup slivered almonds

Dressing:

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Assemble the Salad: On a large platter or in a mixing bowl, combine the broccoli slaw, sliced strawberries, cranberries, red onion, and slivered almonds.
  3. Combine and Serve: Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients. Toss with salad tongs or a large spoon until evenly coated. Serve immediately as a refreshing summer side or light meal.

💡 Pro Tip: For extra crunch, toast the slivered almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat for a few minutes until lightly golden before adding them to the salad.

Every Slaw Needs a Friend

Need ideas for what to serve with your Summer Broccoli Slaw Salad? Try it with grilled chicken breast, salmon, or tilapia. The smoky, savoury flavour from the grill pairs perfectly with the salad’s sweet and tangy notes.

For something heartier, go with pulled pork or BBQ ribs — the rich, tender meat is beautifully balanced by the crisp slaw. You can even top turkey or chicken burgers with the slaw (and a few avocado slices while you’re at it!).

Vegetarian? Pair the slaw with grilled portobello mushrooms or a grain salad made with quinoa or farro. It also works great as a side to wraps or sandwiches filled with roasted veggies, hummus, and feta cheese. Get creative!
