Crispy Pepperoni Caesar Cheese Wrap

Did you know you can make a wrap with mozzarella cheese? That’s right—the classic pizza topping now becomes the wrap itself. With just a few ingredients—mozzarella cheese, turkey pepperoni, and a Taylor Farms Power Caesar Chopped Salad Kit—you can create a quick and easy low-carb wrap that’s packed with protein and ready in less time than it takes to watch an episode of your favourite sitcom (even one with no commercials!).

You’ll also learn how to make mozzarella tortillas in the process, which can certainly come in handy for other wraps and dishes, too.

  • SERVINGS:
  • 1 wrap

Ingredients

  • 175 mL shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Turkey pepperoni, enough to lightly cover the cheese layer

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 175°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a non-stick mat (important: cheese will stick to metal or glass).
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella into a thin, even rectangle or circle on the parchment. Layer the turkey pepperoni evenly over the cheese.
  • Bake for 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted, bubbling, and lightly golden at the edges. Remove from the oven and let cool for 2–3 minutes, just until pliable but not stiff.
  • Toss the greens from the Caesar Kit with the included dressing and toppings. Spoon the dressed Caesar mixture onto the centre of the warm cheese wrap.
  • Gently fold the wrap. Eat immediately while warm and crisp!

Want more of a spread?

This wrap already has plenty going on, but here are a few ideas to round out this cheesy meal.

For a fresh touch, make a quick marinated tomato and cucumber salad with olive oil, red wine vinegar, and a pinch of oregano. The light acidity cuts through the richness of the wrap and makes the meal feel more balanced. A small bowl of mixed olives or pepperoncini also works well, especially if you want to lean into those Italian flavours a bit (and it happens to be the easiest side-dish option).

Roasted broccoli or zucchini tossed with garlic and Parmesan pairs nicely with the wrap and keeps things veggie-forward. A classic cup of tomato soup is another easy option, especially if you’re serving the wrap for lunch.

On the lighter side, a fruit salad with melon and berries adds welcome contrast without competing for attention. Or opt for kettle chips or baked potato wedges for a little extra crunch—which is never, ever a bad thing. Options abound!
